Port CovingtoN - 2019
Port Covington (now Baltimore Peninsula) was one of Baltimore’s most ambitious development projects of the 2010s. At Highrock we worked with the development teams involved in the project to visualize all aspects of development, from early schematic design, board presentations, final marketing assets.
The project involved creating still renderings, video animations and a fully interactive Unreal Engine simulation including pedestrian simulation, daylight studies, and traffic simulation. The simulation allowed stakeholders to modify the project on the fly importing design updates, changing building revisions and updating finishes. It involved working hand in hand with various architectural firms, landscape design firms and development companies to create a digital twin of the project that mirrored its development. As a result the team were able to lease buildings before construction began.
