INTERLOCK

We designed Interlock as a hybrid system to merge the best attributes of apartments and rowhomes together. This project features a mix of three story and two story units. Each unit "interlocks" with the unit next to it providing for ample living space and levels of privacy that rowhomes or apartments themselves don't provide. Interlock also features a coffeeshop on the corner of Pratt and Mount Street to allow residents to have a congregational space, which the neighborhood currently lacks. The Rear of the site is a community open space which allows for the residents to park and play. All the units have large windows which look out onto the space as well as balconies to provide eyes on the street and create a safe atmosphere.
